Terms and Conditions

These terms are the agreement between you and Idraak Academy (commercial registration Pending, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, Sultanate of Oman) when you use Idraak. By creating an account you accept them.

Who can use Idraak

Anyone can learn with us. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission first.

One account belongs to one person. Do not share your password or let someone else use your account — if you do, anything done with it is treated as done by you.

What we provide

The app. Interactive English lessons for levels A0 to A2 — 50 lessons at the time of writing — with instant feedback, spaced review, and progress tracking. We add and improve lessons over time.

Live classes are online group classes on Google Meet. The office places each student in a group at their level.

Not yet available. IELTS preparation is described on our website as coming. It is not part of what you are paying for today, and we do not promise a date.

We may change, add or withdraw features. If we withdraw something you have paid for, we will refund the unused portion of what you paid, or offer a replacement of equal value..

Paying, and getting your money back

Self-Learning, the app, is sold as a monthly plan: every part of the app needs an active plan, and nothing renews by itself: you pay for a month at a time, and we email you before it ends. Live lessons are sold as bundles of live classes with no end date: each class your group holds uses one, including one you miss, and the school may give one back for a genuine reason such as illness. Unused live classes are not refunded. Current prices and ways to pay are on /plans.

Refunds — app subscription. You may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. After 14 days we do not refund that payment. A plan does not renew by itself: nothing more is charged unless you buy again.

Refund calculation. A refund inside the window is full, regardless of how much of the course you have used.

Live classes. Each class your group holds uses one live class, even one you miss. If you miss a class for a genuine reason, such as illness, tell us and we may give that class back. A class we cancel or pause uses none. Unused live classes are not refunded.

How to ask. Email hello@idraak.om from your account's email address. We respond within 14 days and pay refunds back to the original payment method.

Nothing here removes the rights Oman's Consumer Protection Law gives you.

Using it fairly

Please do not: share or resell our lessons, copy the course to build a competing product, use automated tools to scrape it, try to break into other accounts, or interfere with the service.

We may suspend or close an account that does these things. If we close yours for a serious breach, we may keep the unused balance.

Who owns what

Ours: the lessons, questions, texts, artwork, audio and the app itself. Your subscription buys you personal access to learn from them — not the right to copy or redistribute them.

Yours: what you produce — your answers, your saved words, your progress. You keep it, and you can download it at any time from Settings.

Closing your account

You can delete your account whenever you like, from Settings. It is immediate and permanent. Deleting mid-subscription does not by itself entitle you to a refund; see the refund terms above.

We may close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

What we do and do not promise

We work hard to keep Idraak available and accurate, but we do not promise it will never be interrupted, never contain an error, or produce any particular exam result or level of English. Learning depends on you.

To the extent Omani law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

How we handle your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Idraak after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Oman have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, please email us first — most things are settled that way.
